GMP-compliant plants
The Headquarters’ Plant has introduced a production system that is compliant with the latest good manufacturing practices (GMP) criteria and handles validation. In particular, Kokando has established internal standards compatible with GMP requirements related to microorganisms, and rigorous checks are made. The Company is continuing to strengthen its production system and is working to improve its stable supply of quality products and productivity and to make operations more labor-efficient.
Automation
Automation is being introduced to increase efficiency and reduce human error at Kokando’s plants. It has been possible to achieve more stable production by retaining existing good equipment and introducing the latest equipment.
Clean technology
It is only natural that medicines, which make people healthy, are produced in a clean environment. Having established strict criteria and procedures related to the brining in of materials and entering and leaving of people, Kokando conducts operations that meet the criteria and follow established procedures. However, the Company is not complacent with present conditions and is working to make its facilities even cleaner.
